Floating licenses
Above prices are named-user licenses where the software can be installed on a personal computer and a laptop computer and used only by the licensed user. You can buy floating licenses of HelpNDoc to be able to install it on a networked location and allow multiple users to access it: you will need one license per user access to HelpNDoc at a given time. Freeware limitations
HelpNDoc is totally free, without any limitation in time or feature, for personal use only (this means for non-profit and non-commercial uses). The only difference between HelpNDoc Free version and the purchased version is a little text available at the bottom of each page, which look like the following screenshot. The Full version of HelpNDoc doesn't contain this message and can be used for profit purposes.
Update policy
If you order HelpNDoc today, you are entitled for free updates for at least one year. Here is how this works:
Once registered, you get the full version of the program, allowing the use for commercial and profit purposes and without the banner at the bottom of each page, and all the updates till the next version cycle and for at least one year. What does this mean? Let's see an example:
- You buy the version 3.6 of HelpNDoc today...
- You will receive every updates for free till one year from today...
- Then one year from today, if the current version is 4.5, you will continue to receive updates till version 4.6 included!
