Topics form the structure of your documentation in HelpNDoc and appear in the table of contents.

  1. Select the Home ribbon tab if it is not already active.
  2. In the Topic section of the ribbon, click Add a topic.
  3. A new topic is created and its title becomes editable.
  4. Type a custom title for the topic, then press Enter to confirm.

The new topic is added to the table of contents and is ready for content to be entered.

Tip: Topics can be renamed, deleted, and reorganized at any time. For more details, see Managing the table of contents.
